Science Café: ‘Electric Cars: Future Opportunities & Challenges’Best-Electric-Car-Australia

Join the ESRC as we discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with electric vehicles. This event will feature guest speakers:

  • Josipa Petrunic, Executive Director & CEO, Canadian Urban Transit Research & Innovation Consortium (CUTRIC)

Transdisciplinary Seminar Series, Winter 2016

We welcome you to attend any or all of the transdisciplinary seminars we have lined up this semester

  • January 21 – “Game Theory and environmental economics” by Dr. Marcel Oestreich, ESRC, Brock University. Followed by a guest visit with Kerrie Pickering, Environmental Health Consultant & ESRC, Brock University.
  • February 4 – “Environmental impact assessment projects with government and companies” by Lorne Grieg, ESSA Consultants; “Critical issues in urban ecosystems: The case of urban forests” by Dr. James Steenberg, Ryerson University.
  • February 25 – “Evaluation of corporate water disclosure: Frameworks and current practice” by Dr. Danuta de Grosbois, ESRC, Brock University. Followed by a guest visit with Joshua Diamond, Water Quality Specialist, Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority.
  • March 10 & 24 – Major research paper and thesis proposal presentations by the first year SSAS students.
