October 19th, 2015 – Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne issued this statement following the 2015 federal election results:
“I want to congratulate Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada on tonight’s federal election victory. They have received a clear mandate to govern from the people of Canada. I look forward to working in co-operation with our new federal partner on behalf of the people of Ontario.

I also want to congratulate everyone elected tonight, and thank every candidate who put his or her name on a ballot. It takes courage to put your name forward for elected office, and you have made a valuable contribution to our healthy democracy.
