Warmer Days Must Finally Be Here. It’s Allentown Art Festival Time Again.

For more than half a century, it has been one of the more welcome signs that the lazy, hazy days of summer are almost here.

The Allentown Art Festival in Buffalo,  N.Y. – one of the oldest,  biggest and most popular, not to mention most  populated festivals of its kind in this region of the world – is celebrating its 54th anniversary this Saturday,  June 11 and Sunday,  June 12 on several blocks of Delaware Avenue where countless tens-of-thousands are visiting hundreds of exhibitors every hour the festival is open.
Even if you don’t find one or more treasures you want to take home, and that is hard to believe given the calibre of art and craft work one is sure to enjoy here, the colourful of the event and the parade of humanity is worth the free admission to this one.

The Allentown Art Festival is in full tilt both days between the hours of 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. If you can,  check it out.
