You still don’t think this billionaire blowhard could be the next president of a country that has its finger on the hair-trigger of the most lethal nuclear arsenal the world has ever known – a country that can, given its strong economic ties and commanding lead as a trading partner with Canada, bring any government in Ottawa to its knees if a petulant, predatory mind like Trump’s were in the Oval to do so?
If you still don’t think so, you might want to think again.
And as distasteful as it may be to click over to American cable news channels like Fox, CNN and MSNBC, you won’t have to have one of these channels on for very many minutes to hear the latest news on Donald Trump eviscerating any and all rivals and critics as he charges his way to Washington like a fire-breathing dragon on a rampage.
Ginning up fear and anger – especially among older, white, Evangelical Americans who are demanding to get their idea of what their country should be from gun control advocates, gays and immigrants from other religions and cultures, and a Black president and his family they have never been able to come to terms with living in their White House – Donald Trump has just won huge victories in the key New Hampshire and South Carolina presidential primaries.
And according to numerous polls, is poised to continue winning enough primaries across the country to place him just one more victory over a Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders away from the Presidency.
And if and when he wins the Presidency, it won’t matter what you or I or any Pope or other leader of a country has to say.
They’re stupid and they’re losers. Get ’em outta here!!!
No. If you don’t like what Donald Trump has to say about climate change or refugees or anything else he may have planned for his country or anywhere else in the world that messes with him then – as he takes relish in repeating to any hecklers that show up at his campaign rallies – ‘Get the hell out of here!’
Before I finish this post, I will leave you with viewpoint offered up by Canadian commentator Rex Murphy on CBC TV’s The National this past February 18th on Trump recently locking horns with the Pope of the Catholic Church.

Politically and unpolitically correct! It would serve us all right if he did win. He is a byproduct of our own doing, a pariah of everything which has turned out wrong in our western societies, and he is here to cut out the b.s. and reset the dial in the name of reason and free enterprise. If he goes all the way though, I just hope he keeps the wall on the southern perimeter. It’s a bit of redundant fantasy to conceive of a northern barrier, where trade and travel is number one.
