News from the St. Catharines & District Council of Women
On Thursday, September 10th at 8 p.m., the Council of Women will be hosting
free and open meeting on Alzheimer’s at the St. Catharines Centennial Library on 54 Church Street in that city’s downtown.
The guest speaker at the meeting is Denise Verreault, Director of the Education, Mind in Motion Program and Co-ordinator for the Alzheimer’s Society of the Niagara Region.
The areas that will be addressed during the meeting include;
*What is normal memory loss?
* How will I know if I have Alzheimer’s ?
*What are methods of coping?
* How can a person having Alzheimer’s be helped by family, caregivers, friends ?
