The three-day Forum (on the Great Lakes in Niagara Falls, Ontario) is not an IJC event. It is hosted and managed by Environment and Climate Change Canada in partnership with US Environmental Protection Agency. The IJC is a participating organization but has no influence over how the Forum is operated.

(A Footnote from Doug Draper at Niagara At Large- There was ample reason to believe that this three dday event, running Niagara Falls, Ontario from Sept/27th thru Sept. 29th, was an International Joint Commission event given all of the promo around the 50th anniversary signing of the Canada-U.S. Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement, etc.
