What may be this year’s largest Earth Day Rally in Niagara, Ontario is scheculed to take place in the Town Square of the Fonthill community of Pelham this Saturday, April 23rd from 1 to 3 p.m.
The rally is being hosted by a citizen’s group called Pelham Advocates for Trees and Habitat or PATH for short, which is dedicated to promoting and preserving urban forses, and educating the public on the value of trees.
PATH has reached out to other citizen groups and individuals across Niagara in the hope of making this Earth Day Rally as large as they come in the region, so please make a promise to yourself to be there if you can.
Here is the poster for the Rally –
Also please remember that going to one Earth Day event each year is not enough. Every day should be Earth Day in the sense that we are doing everything we can, as individuals, to keep this planet green and health for present and future generations.
And once again, please don’t forget another Earth Day event taking place at Mountain Locks Park in St. Catharines this Friday, April 22nd morning.
