This just recently in.
This December 20th, the council for the Niagara municipality of Thorold joined St. Catharines, Pelham, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Port Colborne and the City of St. Catharines in calling on Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne and her government to direct a full investigation and forensic audit of the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority.
No word yet on what Welland council has decided on this matter, but we will have more for you on Niagara At Large this December, including some of the key points made to Thorold councilors by St. Catharines citizen activist Ed Smith and Thorold regional councilor Henry D’Angela on why it is so important for the provincial government to step in with a thorough probe of the Conservation Authority’s operations.

What about a Fort Erie?
A Brief Note from NAL publisher Doug Draper – So far there has been nothing on public record on this issue from the Fort Erie council. Perhaps the council and citizens in Fort Erie feel the NPCA matter is not all that relevant to them.
