You have got to be kidding. How desperate was this group to find someone that they latched onto this paragon of virtue to help their cause.

If Gale was the perfect whistle blower, why was he not reappointed to the Niagara Parks Commission? Heck, if he were right, they should have made him the Chair and held parades down University Avenue to salute him!

Oh, but he wasn’t! The Integrity Commissioner found nothing to his allegations, and to top it off, all of his former colleagues, the ones he has spent the past several months criticizing – were all reappointed.

This must really gnaw away at the man. And you know what? It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

Kudo’s to Bob Gale and standing up for what is right. There is no middle ground on this type of behavior. It is either right or wrong and most right thinking people can see it as one or the other, no in between.
Most people that get into a position in any government municipal up to federal would not do what Bob did ,they have no backbone or are in it for what they can get, just look around you and see what you have for representation,these people don’t have the guts to stand up for what is right they would rather slink into some rat hole to do their dirty deeds.
They are afraid of their peers and what they would think of them, “poor excuses for a human being”, thet act like they want to do good to get a position ,either elected or appointed then when they get in they suddenly don’t care and just do what they want, not what the public wants.
The problem with the general public is that they have short memories, and these guys will throw out a couple of carrots prior to an election or a reappointment and the public will
forget about the damage that was done in the first few years by these jerks, and they will be back in these positions once again to do more damage or to corrupt the system some more.
I had the honour to meet Bob about 28 years ago when we where both involved in a Dale Carnegie Course in St. Catharines and I knew at the time that he was all about fairness ,integrity and honesty ,something most people involved in governments either appointed or elected are void of.
So congratulations Bob on proving what I have been saying all along, your wife and your children should be so proud of you. Thanks again Richard Berry.

Congratulations to Mr Gale. We applaud his many efforts. Now he can go to work for us and find out where the Niagara Health System has used their 42% increase in funding for the health care of citizens in Niagara.
The southern tier knows where it was not used!

At last ! Mr. Gale is receiving some of the kudos he deserves for letting the govt. and public know about the boat tour lease, and the public deserves to know what other untendered “business” has been granted and to whom!!

This is fabulous news! Gale is a hero to many, and huge philanthropist and evidently a man of integrity. Good for FAIR for appointing him.

I wonder if any of the local dailies will cover this story….hmmmmm

I noticed the articles about Niagara Parks and their new non-Niagara-non-old-boy Chair in the Globe today. About time.
